Yingying Zheng

Yingying is primarily a painter. Using Oil paint and pallet knives, Yingying thoughtfully explores geometric composition of space. Through her artwork Yingying challenges the viewer to rethink their relationship with their surroundings and question the comfortable and familiar revealing different feelings and new combinations of shapes and lines.                                            

“I hope my art inspires viewers to re-examine familiar spaces and reflect on their ways of seeing the world. Looking ahead, I plan to create stronger connections between my works and their surroundings and explore incorporating figures and aspects of daily life to add emotional depth to my compositions.”
