Stick (with) It is an artist collective of former fine art students continuing their practice after their studies. Building a Home is an absurdist exploration into coming of age and nostalgia.

“Here we play house. Drawing on fears of the future and comforts of the past, reminiscing on the simplicity of childhood, hiding from the stress of adulthood amidst a climate of uncertainty. This home is held by us. A tent, blowing in the wind. This photographic performance captures our game, producing work that confronts shifting life stages and the desire to return to what we know. The question remains through it all: how do we find our place. Structurally inept. We hold this house down.”

Building a Home will be on display in the windows of the Hidden Wardrobe from Friday 20th September until Sunday 27th October and is free to visit.
