On the night, we’ll be brought you sounds from Address: Movement for Social Change who are a CIC using regenerative means to build community and connection via all forms of electronic music.Their initiatives nurture and develop electronic music and nightlife culture by equipping people with resources, skills and opportunities.
Address acts as an ‘incubator for the underground’, increasing accessibility and equity in electronic music to fuel creativity and connection of all involved. They proudly work beyond the influence of profit-focused objectives, providing alternatives to how artists, performers and audiences engage with electronic music and nightlife in their communities.
The name ‘address’ refers to three priorities: To address the lack of diverse spaces, events and ways that people can experience, enjoy or engage in nightlife and electronic music culture. To address the impact of profit-orientated industries on creativity, innovation, freedom and opportunity. To address issues of representation, inclusivity, community and safety in nightlife culture and electronic music.
