RIPE Live: RIPE Pears #01 showcased new works by local and emerging artists, plus a live DJ set and drinks at the Alfred Arcade and the Alfred Arms.

🍐Our latest RIPE exhibition at the Alfred Arcade, Ripe Pears #01, the first in a two-part exhibition of outstanding work by a group of recent graduates from Solent University and Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton.

The project provided an opportunity for a group of emerging artists to exhibit a recent body of work in a new space, the Alfred Arcade. The artists will meet, exhibit and engage in critical debate; forming networks and friendships that will help them sustain a fruitful visual arts practice here in Southampton.

👩‍🎨 We will also celebrated the launch of a new solo exhibition by Anna Marris in the windows of the Hidden Wardrobe.

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of his debut album release, Benji Heinke played in The Alfred Arms, which was followed by the talented DJs of Nothin’ to do Soundsystem @nothintodosoundsystem
