Banana Bread

A wonderfully rich short-term residency recipe, to encourage artistic and professional development through skills-sharing workshops and opportunities.

Be sure to use really ripe bananas.

Ingredients:
6 emerging artists
1 abandoned shopping arcade
3 weeks of workshops

Method:

– Support the artists individually to develop and deliver a workshop for the rest of the group with clear aims and collective outcomes.

– Mix the artists with a large wooden spoon to encourage skills-sharing and professional development.

– Separate the mixture into six rooms, before baking at 180°c/Gas Mark 5 for a few days, until a skewer comes out clean.
